The sensor is clamped onto the power cable of a processing machine and detects if the machine is switched on. When activated the sensor XR/EP is capable of directly controlling an electro pneumatic sliding damper (24V DC coil). Sensitivity can be adjusted with the SHUTR Connect app. See the Sensor+ option for connecting up to 4 gates. For >4 gates and/or you want to control the dust collector you need a SHUTR Controller. External antenna for improved range up to 100 meter. Powered by a small 24VDC wall mount adapter with an 4 mtr long cable (included).

Connect an EP damper

The SHUTR Sensor XR/EP has an 24V DC output that directly controls an electro pneumatic damper.

Connect an EP damper to the sensor

Sensor installation

The sensor is powered through an 24VDC wallmount adapter. The adapter cable and the cable from the coil on the EP damper plug into the sensor XR/EP housing. And just clamp the sensor on to the power cable of the machine.

Standalone operation

Sensor XR/EP configuration

Use the SHUTR Connect app to configure the sensor. Set EP damper diameter, sensor sensitivity and after-run time.

Standalone or networked

Automated dust collection

Use the SHUTR Sensor XR/EP standalone or as part of a SHUTR Connect network with multiple SHUTR Gates and/or EP dampers. Up to 4 gates: Sensor+ option without dust collector activation. For > 4 gates use the SHUTR Controller with dust collector activation.
