Upgrade your Laguna P-Flux by installing
SHUTR fully automated sliding dampers
The Laguna P-Flux dust collector, 1-phase or 3-phase, can be easily integrated with the SHUTR controller of BlastGate.com.
Once the connection with the SHUTR controller is established, the combination of the SHUTR system and the Laguna offers the following functionality:
Automatic activation
If a SHUTR component (gate, sensor or remote) is activated, the Laguna dust collector will switch on automatically. This way the dust collector motor will no longer be running unnecessarily and no more manually opening or closing sliding dampers or switching the dust collector on/off.
Improved dust collection
Only collect dust where it is needed and when it is needed.
Delayed switch-off
When switching the dust collector off, one may configure a delay. A delay can also be set per SHUTR component. Use the SHUTR Connect app to configure the SHUTR components.
Vacuum prevention
To prevent a vacuum in the ducting you can configure one or more gates to remain open.
Activate by open gates or by remote(s)
You can choose to activate the dust collector when 1) a SHUTR component is activated, or 2) one or more remotes, directly paired to the controller, are activated regardless of the status of other gates/sensors.
Power surge prevention
A default switch-on delay for the dust collector is configured to prevent a power surge if the dust collector and processing machine would be switched on at the same time.
Improved remote control
The SHUTR remote is easier to handle, better to locate in a workshop, and can be clipped on to a belt to carry along in the workshop.
All safety features and functions of the Laguna P-flux are maintained.
An installation guide is provided on the BlastGate.com website in the support section giving you the steps to connect the SHUTR controller to the Laguna P-flux.
